Tripti Pandey
Tripti Pandey is a renowned tourism, culture, and travel writer known for her work in promoting Rajasthan’s fairs and festivals, helping preserve the state’s living heritage. With a Master’s in the History of Ancient India and Culture and a Tourism Management Diploma from Salzburg, Austria, she received the UNWTO fellowship in the Ecology of Tourism. In 2024, she was honoured as The Honorary Professor of Liberal Arts by Amity University. A passionate cultural ambassador for Rajasthan, Pandey has created international festivals like the Desert Festival in Jaisalmer and promoted lesser-known fairs. She has authored books such as Where Silence Sings and The Half Empress and received awards, including the Gold Cross from the President of Austria. Her research on women’s head coverings in India, showcased in the Through the Veil exhibition, has been featured in museums worldwide.
